Mini ends above the knee, midi between knee and ankle, maxi at the ankle or floor. The name of every dress here says which it is, so you never have to guess from a photograph.

The ones cut from knit and ribbed fabric do, and their descriptions say so. A woven dress with no stretch runs closer to the measurements, so size to the larger number if you are between sizes.

Close, not identical. Screens and studio lights both shift a shade. Fabric dyed in different production runs shifts a little too, which is honest rather than convenient.
