This is the quietest department and the one people buy twice: sleepwear, loungewear, and the underwear and socks that go under everything else. A satin set that survives the wash is worth more than three that do not.
Fabric decides everything here. Satin feels cool and slides. Cotton and modal breathe and crease. Every piece names its fabric, and the journal explains what each one needs to survive a year of washing. Underwear and socks sit at the end of the department, sized the way the maker sizes them.

Is the satin real silk?
No, and we will not call it that. It is a satin weave in a synthetic fibre, which is what almost all affordable satin sleepwear is. It feels cool and it washes better than silk does.
Do the sets run large?
Sleepwear is cut loose on purpose. If you want it closer to the body, size down one. If you sleep hot and move a lot, keep your usual size.
Can I machine wash satin?
Cold, gentle cycle, inside a mesh bag, and never in a tumble dryer. Heat is what kills a satin finish.
